Is Parvathy Melton Happy For 'Dookudu'?

Parvathy Melton turned the heads of many with her item dance in the film ‘Dookudu’. She contributed a lot for the success of ‘poovai poovai antaadu auto apparao..’ song. The film became a historical hit and everyone who is associated with that is on cloud-9. But rumor mills say that Parvathy Melton is not fully happy with this phenomenon.

The reason is she is getting item dance offers from all big banners but not that of heroine. Parvathy might have assumed that this cameo sort of appearance in Dookudu would help her grab attention as glamour star to bag heroine roles on big banners. But the results are not expected. Hence sources say that she is happy for Dookudu success but unhappy for the repercussions she is facing with that.

Anonymous movie

There are great moments in Anonymous, from its arresting opening scene (with Derek Jacobi rushing into a Broadway theater and striding directly onstage) to recreations of the first performances ever given of Henry V and Hamlet before a spellbound throng of groundlings. I, too, was captivated during those thrilling scenes, which is why it’s so frustrating that Anonymous nearly drowns itself in a sea of confusion.

Because no one wants to tell a story in chronological order any more, this saga hopscotches back and forth through three separate time periods (not counting the modern-day framing device with Jacobi). I know this because we see David Thewlis as Queen Elizabeth’s advisor William Cecil in three different makeups: as a middle-aged man, then older, then elderly. It’s easy to keep track of the Queen because she’s played in the two later stages of life by the magnificent—
Director Roland Emmerich, who’s best known for such apocalyptic epics as Independence Day and 2012, has done an excellent job of recreating 17th century England and making us feel as if we’re there, whether we’re watching men carefully walk on planks to avoid the muddy streets or witnessing the first utterances of the immortal characters from Romeo and Juliet on an open-air stage. (Vast overhead shots of London, especially those showing the Globe Theater, are so realistic that I find them vexing—like watching a magician perform an “impossible” trick and concentrating on how he did it rather than enjoying the illusion.)
As imagined in "Anonymous," William Shakespeare was an illiterate actor, barely able to write his name, much less a sonnet, and an opportunist with an outsized ego, all of which actor Rafe Spall ("Shaun of the Dead," "Hot Fuzz") handles nicely. The real playwright and poet was Edward De Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford, who for complicated reasons needs a front man for his work. De Vere is played with great aplomb by Ifans, unrecognizable from his naked "Notting Hill" days, in fact unrecognizable from anything he's ever done. Let us just point out that he does Elizabethan aristocracy very well indeed.

A noted writing contemporary of Shakespeare's, Ben Jonson (Sebastian Armesto, excellent in his creative frustration), is the man De Vere ultimately entrusts with his plays and with carrying out what really is — if it is — one of the greatest ruses ever. For all the royal betrayals, one of the rather delicious subtexts is that fights between writers for literary supremacy are just as deadly as struggles for the crown.
But vivid atmosphere and fine performances can’t salvage this long, ultimately ponderous production. If only the script had been simplified—perhaps I should say clarified—and shortened this could have been a smashing film. Instead, it’s a major disappointment.
Rhys Ifans plays Edward De Vere, the Earl of Oxford, who arranges for his plays to be produced on stage, where they are credited to a somewhat screwloose actor named Will Shakespeare, played with brio by Rafe Spall. This is not the Earl’s doing, as his choice for “front man” is struggling playwright Ben Jonson (Sebastian Armesto), but that’s one of the film’s many twists.

THE DIRTY PICTURE releases on Silk Smitha's birthday

When Vidya Balan kick starts a pan-India promotional tour for her upcoming film, The Dirty Picture, she will have a standby doctor to attend to her at all times.

The decision was taken by the film's producer Ekta Kapoor and director Milan Luthria because Vidya, who was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital around Dusshera with low hemoglobin level, is yet to be fully fit. The publicity campaign will start around mid-November and the much-hyped film is slated to open worldwide on December 2.

"The Dirty Picture is Vidya's film since she, plays the central role of the eighties sex siren Silk Smitha in the biopic. Naturally, the publicity campaign cannot be conceptualized without her. At the same time, the makers of the film
This is a film I'm pretty excited about, and I can't really tell you why. The Dirty Picture is the upcoming Bollywood biopic of south Indian actress Silk Smitha. Smitha was an item girl and actor in a number of South Indian films and a few Hindi films mostly known for her use of her own sexuality and her boldness in a time when Indian films were still a bit more chaste than they are today. Her film career began in 1979 and ran through 1996, when she was found dead of an apparent suicide in her Chennai apartment.
cannot ignore Vidya's health. So, a decision has been taken to have a doctor on call at all hours for her while she is touring to promote the film," an industry source said.
The film has a pretty solid cast, and its director, Milan Luthria, is coming off a hit with last year's Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. The cast is led by Vidya Balan as Smitha. Balan is no stranger to critical success, and is rumored to have put on weight to play the role of Smitha, who was far curvier than most current Indian actresses. It may not sound like much, but intentionally putting on weight is not something any actress, and certainly not an Indian one, will do without fear of consequences. Supporting Balan will be Naseeruddin Shah as Tamil star Rajnikanth, as well as Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor in as yet unnamed roles.

The Dirty Picture comes from ALT Productions, which is the same production house that had recent success with Ragini MMS and Love, Sex, aur Dhoka. ALT is no stranger to controversy and loves pushing the envelope, so I think we're in for a treat. Good or bad, I don't think The Dirty Picture will be boring. Below is the first fifteen second teaser for the film, it ain't much, but it's a start. The Dirty Picture is expected to release December 2nd.
Producer Ekta is not willing to reveal details about the film's promotional tour yet except the fact that apart from Vidya her male co-stars, Tusshar Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi will also be a part of it. Interestingly, the same doctor won't tour along with Vidya.

"The filmmakers have negotiated with a reputed doctor in each city that the unit will be touring. The doctor will be available as and when needed," a source said. Vidya was hospitalized around Dusshera owing to ill health. She had been complaining of excessive exhaustion and dizzy spells when her parents took her to the doctor. Tests revealed low hemoglobin level and the actress was immediately hosp

Naga Chaitanya s forthcoming film Bejawada Rowdilu has reached its final leg of shoot. The entire shooting part of the film has been completed except for a song. The left out song will begin its filming in a week.

Though the makers have earlier planned Bejawada for a Diwali release, it was later postponed to 4th November due to delay in schedules. Naga Chaitanya will be seen romancing pretty actress mala Paul in the movie. Bejawada is touted to be a mass entertainer that deals with rowdyism in politics.
Naga Chaitanya starrer Bejawada Rowdilu that was supposed to hit the screens on October 21st for Diwali is likely to be postponed to November 1st week as per the sources buzz.

The unit has currently moved to Switzerland for canning a couple of songs on the lead pair Naga Chaitanya and Amala Paul. Major part of the film was shot in Vijayawada and Hyderabad. Bejawada is taking shape in the hands of first-timer Vivek Krishna while Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru are jointly producing it under the banner of Shreya Productions.
Naga Chaitanya is playing the lead role in Bezwada Rowdilu which is jointly produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Koneru Kiran KUmar. Bezwada Rowdilu is the directorial venture of Vivek Krishnu and the shoot is in progress and the first schedule will be completed by 27th of this month.
Ram Gopal Varma has been the target for quite some time for all wrong reasons. He has been making headlines for his controversial projects that he takes up to make.

The current Ram Gopal Varma`s project 'Bezwada Rowdilu' is in trouble again as some of the activits of Sarvodaya Non Govt Organisation has requested to stop the movie.

The reason behind for raising a request to stop the filming of Bezwada Rowdilu is that the movie focuses on the issues that happend in the recent past in Vijayawada and also request the biggies not to act in his movie.

Earlier there was a protest from political leaders in making this movie but RAm Gopal VArma explained them that it is not releated to the rowdism in Vijayawada and they were convinced but now the new issue has been raised to stop the filming of Bezawada Rowdeelu
The latest buzz that is making rounds is that the bubbly babe Genelia who is fairly looking for a good offer to return to Tollywood has been offered to act beside Naga Chaitanya.
Bejawada has been the most controversial film right from the announcement and RGV has recently changed its title to come out of these controversies. Nevertheless, the film has earned enough publicity with these issues turning out as one of the awaited films of the season.

Vivek Krishna, who earlier worked as an associate to Ram Gopal Varma is debuting as director in Tollywood. Bejawada is jointly being produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru on Shreya Productions banner. Music is by Amar Mohle, Prem, Dharam Sandeep and Vishal.

All eyes on 7th Sense

Surya has emerged as an actor, who is highly popular not only in Tamil Nadu but also in Andhra Pradesh. Every since his Ghajini became blockbuster, his fan base has been increasing with his every release. As a result, his market in the state has grown by leaps and bounds and the distributors have also understood that he is sellable actor in AP. Now for his latest movie 7th Sense, a dubbed version of Tamil 7aam Arivu, he has got a record number of screens.
Shruti is the connecting link between two characters played by Suriya — Buddhist monk Bodhidharman in the 5th century and the contemporary character. Shruti is a young scientist. “Murugadoss always has strong characters for the women in his films. He narrated the story, briefed me about my character and told me that he wanted the girl to be look good and intelligent. I asked him ‘How do I look intelligent',” laughs Shruti, recalling her meeting with the ace director. “He told me to just go with the flow of the screenplay. It's a complex character with many layers. It's not your uni-dimensional bubbly heroine,” she adds. Her character has the task of explaining scientific terms to the audience in a simple manner.
According to traders, Surya is not facing any competition for his Diwali offering, 7th Sense. The forthcoming movie has got 400 screens, which is the second highest in terms of numbers after Rajinikanth's Robo, in Andhra Pradesh. In Nizam region alone, it is releasing with 150 plus screens that comprises 55 prints in Hyderabad. It is said that the actor and director AR Murgadoss' brand is working big time. Moreover, there are no big releases during Diwali, which has benefited the movie.
Despite being a dubbed film, so many expectations are riding on Suriya’s Diwali release 7th Sense. Interesting publicity material is raising the curiosity factor so much that the trade is expecting this film to take a rocking start at the box office.

The fact that this film is coming from the deadly duo Murugadoss and Suriya, who delivered Ghajini in the past, is adding to the craze and hype. Although the audio of this film is not popular as Ghajini was, 7th Sense does have the factors to grab the attention of audience.

Shruti Haasan is the female lead in this film. 7th Sense is going to release in highest number of theatres in Andhra Pradesh. Robo has the biggest opening record in AP for a dubbed film. Will 7th

Sense set a new record by surpassing it has to be seen.

Taapsee does it again for Mogudu

Many in the film industry say that if a heroine lands in the hands of creative director Krishna Vamsi, her career graphs would take an upward leap. Several heroines who acted in his films became top stars later. All this is however, one side of the coin.

The other side gives raise to several doubts. News is now out that Krishna Vamsi does several other things, apart from teaching acting, with his heroines.
Gopichand’s Mogudu has wrapped up the entire talkie part of the film and is yet to shoot 3 songs apart from the patch work. The next schedule will be completed by September as per the reports. Tapsee is playing the leading lady in the film while Shradda Das will be seen in a vital role.

Krishna Vamsi wielded the megaphone for the film and Tapsee is all excited about her role in the movie. The actress hopes that Mogudu takes her to the heights. The cozy affair of huddling between action star gopichand and yoga beauty Anushka during the shoot of ‘Souryam’ isn’t forgotten that easily by audience. Both of them indulged in intimate lip kisses showcasing their on screen romance having the maximum of influence from their off screen affair. Later on, Nagarjuna dominated the rumor sections of Anushka dominating the poor gopichand.

Now, creative director Krishnavamsi is to reopen the joint account of Gopi-Anushka with the film ‘Mogudu,’ title apt to their relation. Sources gossip that Krishnavamsi always had an eye on these two and now this might come as a blessing in disguise for Gopi who became unwanted after the failure ‘Wanted.’ Lucky that Anushka still wants it from Gopi. So, Krishnavamsi is to open their Forgotten affair Freshly again! Bujji is producing the film on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner. Babu Shankar is debuting to Tollywood as a music director.

Gopichand, who is not in the form in the recent times, is hoping to bounce back with Mogudu. The film is expected to see its limelight in October.

Tapsi was enjoying the success of her recent releases Mr.Perfect with Prabhas and Veera with Ravi Teja. The success of these movies bagged her another offer.

The recent dialogue of Dil Raju gives credence to these reports. Speaking in the audio release function of ‘Mogudu,’ Dil Raju said, “Krishna Vamsi literally rubs the heroines who land in his hands.” Audience roared in laughter on listening this dialogue. Realizing that he has inadvertently uttered a double-meaning dialogue, Dil Raju made amends by saying, “My intention is that Krishna Vamsi grinds the heroines acting-wise. Don’t misunderstand me”.
